As I understand the keyword, it will position the subfile record
corresponding to the relative record number placed into the associated field
at the top of the screen.  You might want to check the DDS reference also
since I'm a few releases out of date.  Are you looking to make your desired
record number one in the subfile after it has been loaded into the subfile?

will this subfile key word sflrcdnbr(*top) going to get any random
desired record to be placed in the first position when the page is
displayed(i mean i want to display the list of records starting
 from my desired record)...Iam getting only that page which is
having desired record but iam nt able to place it in the beginning
of the list...
