F SPEC to clear a file?

It doesn't - it should but ...... I had a "senior moment" -  I always forget
that way back in the ruins of time when I first learnt RPG it was a non-IBM
version which did sensible things like only adding records to a file when
you asked it to <grin> (otherwise it would just reset the file and write the
new records).

I noticed when looking up some new V5R2 stuff and was about to post a
correction - sorry if I mislead you.
