Murali,

WRKUSRJOB USER(username) JOBTYPE(*BATCH) is one of the many ways to check
the status of a batch job. WRKSBMJOB is another.

as far as your other question, maybe we lost something in your translation,
but I think you expect too much of this list.

no one here will 'write the code' for you. These lists are an invaluable
resource, can provide much help if your questions are specific, and can
also provide code snippets when convienient and/or available, but do not
expect anyone to do your job for you.

from your question it is unclear exactly what you want to do...

Do you want this program to display the data from the PF? in what format?
why does it have to be a CL?

CLP only allows one declared file, so you cannot read a PF and display to a
DSPF. If you are just looking for a way to display data from a PF on a
screen, look into DFU (data file utility - STRDFU). If DFU doesn't suit
your needs, you will probably need to write an RPG program to access both
the display file and the PF... just like every other programmer/analyst on
this list.

hope this helps,

rick
