Hi Everyone,
I have to build an XML document in the IFS so I am using
IBM's XML to RPG Interface. I was looking through the source code and
noticed a
ALLOC 256 XmlFile2@. The XmlFile2@ is where the IFS path
goes('/xml/upsxml.xml'). Could someone tell me the reason they would
dynamically allocate memory. I have never used this OPCODE before and I
would like to know when to use it and when not to use it. Thanks.
