Thanks for the links, and your right about having a lot to go through...
There is so much good source code in the archives, and I know what keywords
to use... But In my mind, I kept thinking of a particular piece of code, and
I just couldn't track it down...  But your links will work great also..

Another question to all:

I tried looking for QTEMP via the IFS, w/explorer but couldn't find it...
Is it possible to write a stream file to QTEMP?  or is there another place
in the IFS to guarantee a private/self cleaning  work space?
