>Is it true that variables in subprocedures are local only to that

I think I answered my own question... A variable is local to a subprocedure,
only if, it's defined in that subprocedure. I guess I was under the
impression that a subprocedure was like a separate program and didn't have
access to the "program's" variables unless they were "parmed" in...

ehhhh, so much to learn, so little intelligence...

Subject: SubProcedure Variables...

Hi All,

Just a beginner's question...

Is it true that variables in subprocedures are local only to that
subprocedure?

I was just playing with a CallP to a subprocedure, no parameters, no return
value, and was able to modify a variable, that is defined in the main code,
from within the subprocedure.

I didn't think that this would work, now I'm confused. (my normal state of
mind!)
