Bob replied:

Just to expand on Bob's answer,  V5R2 will allow some additional
options on keyword DTAARA.  For example,  you'll be able to code
a character literal  with library  qualified data area name.  In
addition, you'll also be able to code a name (optionally library
qualified) in a variable.
