A MODS doesn't always work out as slick as you might
like because you have to reset the occurrence before a
call. I use a storage toolkit that handles the allocation,
offsetting, sorting, etc. for MODS like structures. You
can download that toolkit for free, source included from
www.iseries-toolkit.org. There is some documentation
on the storage toolkit procedures here:

That's what I thought. What I'm looking to do is to resemble a
recordset
via a MODS. Instead of passing the entire MODS just passing a pointer
to
the MODS. I assume it works the same way with an OCCURS clause as it
does
with a DIM.
