RE: Skip Writing to Journal Receiver When Updating a JournaledFi le

I've never worked in a journaled environment, but would it be possible to
use SQL to do the updates/deletes "with NC" to keep them from using
commitment control?  I'm afraid I don't know enough about how journaling
works........

Anyone have any idea how to avoid writing to a journal receiver while
updating a journaled file.  I would like to make some mass deletes to a
file during the work day but we must keep journaling active and the last
time I tried this,  the journal receiver filled up causing me a mass
headache.  Any help would be appreciated
