I've been bitten by this too.  The last application I was working on never
used the MOVEA op code so never ran across this.

JBA, on the other hand, does use this and it took me a while to figure out
where this indicator was being changed.

Can you guess that I advocate MOVEA's usage for indicators?

Advocates of scanning the RPG source for indicator usage will be in for a
very unpleasant shock if indicator 89 is set/reset in another display file
format or if the code contains gems like movea     '11111'       *in(85).
Been there.  Got the third degree burns.  Never again.  The compiler cross
reference will show indicators 85,86,87,88 and 89 as being used in the above
scenario, but NOT here:
