RE: Cerdit Card validation via RPG?

AFAIK, the only thing you can do without a clearing house is to perform a
mod 10 check on the leftmost digits.  The last digit is always a check
digit.  The mod 10 algorithm is documented
in the DDS Reference in the section on the CHECK keyword.  It's simple to
code.

The universal VISA card is 4111 1111 1111 1111.
