R. Bruce Hoffman Jr. has given me so many SQL tips - I can't begin to tell
you.  I've taken to eyeballing the SQL reference for each release to see
what I've missed along the way.  It's a lot.  There's no small amount of
inertia that I have to keep breaking free from.  If I solved problem X with
solution 1 in the past, it's terribly easy to simply reuse that solution
forever, even when a better solution comes along.  Embedded SQL is one of
those things I'm working on learning, to see if there's a better way than
I've previously used.
