RE: API prototypes in /COPY member

Geert,

I want to use the QUIxxx api's for opening, closing, displaying, printing
and so forth a list panel using UIM.

The reason for using UIM is that, on the one hand, it's quick (if a user
wants an inquiry program with display and print function, it beats creating
a DSPF, PRTF and RPGLE) and on the other hand, I like trying out new (?)
things, in this case UIM and API's.

Can you be more specific about which api you want to use?

If you would let me know which source members from QSYSINC
you need, i'll mail them to you in ascii format.
(Unfortunately for you we're on V5R1)

P.S. Why would you use UIM?

Hello,

Does anybody know whether there exists (either on the system or on the
internet) a source where you can find/download API prototypes for use in
RPGLE?

I want to create a /COPY member with the UIM API prototypes, but I cannot
figure out how to define the error code (and possibly the optional
parameters).   The system API reference doesn't help much either, as it
gives 2 possible formats for the error code parameter, with varying length
fields...

The reference mentions sources in QSYSINC, but this library is not on our
system (V4R3M0).

Any help would be highly appreciated.
