The DECFMT keyword on the CHGJOB command can be use to override the QDECFMT
system value. The bottom line is you don't have to do anything in your
programs or DDS to get this to work properly. If the system value QDECFMT
is set properly, the thousands separator and character used to indicate
decimal positions will be correct. If you need to override this on a system
for a particular user, use the CHGJOB command.

The following are valid on the DECFMT parameter on CHGJOB.

                    Decimal format (DECFMT) - Help

Specifies the decimal format used for the job.

 The possible values are:

 *SAME
     The value does not change.

 *SYSVAL
The value specified for the QDECFMT system value is used.

 *BLANK
A period (.) is used for the decimal format, zero suppression.

 'J'
A comma (,) is used for the decimal format, one leading zero.

 'I'
A comma (,) is used for the decimal format, zero suppression.

Hope this helps.
