use %SUBST to do this? If so how?"

You can do this:
Eval Phone_Suf=%SUBST(Phone:5:4)
Phone=%SUBST(Phone:4:Phone_Suf)

Hello,
I have a little problem. I have a phone Number that is in a character field. The
number is 445-1234. I need to remove the '-'. So it reads 4451234. Can I use
%SUBST to do this? If so how?
