Hrishikesh Kotwal says.....

I have to create a Join file which must have Key fields from both files,
what is the best solution to achieve this?

There is a Keyword for Join LF call JDUPSEQ it will allow you to "Order" the
second file by a key. If you do not have SQL another option is a
MULTI-FORMAT logical, this allows you to have keys per file. Although the
early keys should be the same, any keys you don't have a match you put a
*NONE. It requires you to check the Record format while processing in a RPG
program so you know which file you have read but other than that it I have
used to solve a lot of read two file problems.
