Ah, Yes I did.   BTW,  you can use  the following

D  Dsname E DS           EXTNAME(FILEX)  Inz(*EXTDFT)

to use the DFT values from the DDS of the file.   REALLY REALLY Sweet.  Now
we
can define the default values in the Data Base.    I use it alot for
defining my program to program
interfaces.  (Primitive PCML you might say).


If I can take any claim for improvements,  it's this one.  I petitioned for
3 years(mostly harangued).

Did you know that if you change the values in a data structure in the
*INZSR
routine, those are the values that will be used in a RESET operation?  I
haven't tested this, I only read it here:
