Re: API or way to Retrieve SRCPF

PDM do not "retreive" the source file name. It uses the context of the one 
currently opened. If all you have is the member name, you cannot retreive the 
corresponding file name because, among other, several member with the same name 
can exist in multiple source file.

If your program is going to be called from PDM (as a user defiened option) you 
can use the variable &F for the file.

If this is not the case, maybe you can derive the file name from the membre 
name if you have well established standards (Ex: if the member name ends with a 
R then it is an RPG program in QRPGSRC)

I'm trying to create a program, where user can enter the member name, & is
able to compile the program,
If I hardcode the srcfile name, QCLSRC/&mypgm then it works or if user enter
qclsrc or any source file/ with member then it works
but I want the user to enter only member name like in PDM, we enter opt"14"
to compile, at that time sytem already knows it's in which enviroment, so
RTVOBJD is not fit here because I'm trying to compile the member
