I am willing to bet he is trying to compare the dates in QRPGSRC or
QRPGLESRC with the dates of the source members in the actual program. Many
times someone changes the source but fails to properly propagate the change
into production.

Maybe you can use DSPFD FILE(MyLibrary/QRPGSRC), for example, and you can
look
for the member creation date.

Is this what you need?

I need to know the date of creation of the source of an RPGLE program.
The problem is that I need to have that information on a database file and
the
only command that I know to retrieve this type of information is the DSPPGM
command (with the *MODULE option) and this command doesn't have the OUTFILE
option on the OUTPUT parameter.
The other command I know to retrieve this information in DSPOBJD, but this
command doesn't give me the date of creation of the source if it is from a
RPGLE
program.

Does anybody know how to retrieve this information on a database file?
Thank you in advance.
