It's in the Open Feedback section of the INFDS.  The RPG Reference Manual
points you at the Data Management Guide for device specific information.
You could do worse than check that manual -- which is hidden away in the
Database and File Systems section of the Information Centre.

The QUSRMBRD API will also give you the record count in format MBRD0200
format.
