Hi:

Currently My RPGLE program A is writing files to an IFS. I open the IFS and
write data and close in program A. There is another application which is
monitoring the presence of the file in the same IFS directory. Once I close
my file in Program A, the other application grabs the file to use and
deletes when it is done with it.

Now there is a new requirement. I need to call a new program B from my
program A. Program B must write data to the same IFS file as program A. Can
I pass a file pointer of the IFS and have the program B also write to the
same file, and then I close the IFS file. Remember I cannot close the file
and reopen because of the other application monitoring the same directory.

Thanks for your help in advance.
GG
