I think you'll need to look into either the Virtual Terminal API's, or Albert
York's API's for automating a telnet session.  (Sorry I don't have his web page
bookmarked.)

This will let you programatically start an "interactive" session under your
control.  You then cause this session to start the program for which you don't
have source, and feed it the part numbers one at a time.  When you have reached
the end of your list, you sign off the "interactive" session.

IBM has a manual devoted to the Virtual Terminal API's.  Albert York's may be
easier to use.
