Create a command for submitting the CL, which describes the parameters, and
submit the command - it will work perfectly.

Subject: parameter passing

I am experienceing a weird problem I hope somebody can help me with.

I have an RPGILE program that calls a CLLE program, this CLLE pgm submits a
second CLLE program which in turn calls a RPGLE program:
    RPG--(call)-->CL--(submit)-->CL--(call)-->RPG

The problem is on the submit the parms get messed up, if I change the submit
in the second CL to be a call it all works fine. The parms I am passing a
char(1),char(1),char(5000),char(5000).

The 2 char(5000) get really messed up on the submit, the data in the field
is duplicated, escape chars are add, just plain messed up.

Does anybody know why this happens on a submit and not on the call. And how
can I fix this?
