Hi:

I have multiple data areas defined. One for each file which has a physical
file trigger. The data area are called by the file name and application
name.

Eg: File=ABC, Application=Order. Dataarea = 'ABCORDER'. Application is
always order.

The data area is one byte in length which will hold 'Y' or 'N' flag. When a
trigger happens, the program which is called by the trigger, will have the
file name which caused the trigger in the trigger buffer. I will concat the
field which has the filename and a constant of 'order' to field called XYZ.
The value of XYZ = 'ABCORDER'. Now can I lookup the dataarea using the value
in XYZ field to see if the flag is 'Y' or 'N'. If you have any code sample I
would appreciate that too.

Thanks
GG
