Andy, try TEST (E) and see whether that does it for a null date value. I'll
be interested as I have not tried this with a null.

Hi all

I have a database date field that can be null.

Before I display this field on the screen, I check its value using the
%NULLIND check.

 If Not %NullInd( ScCnt )

           or

should I be using the *Loval check

 If ScCnt <> *Loval

I'm not having much joy using the %NullInd way, should this work?

Running V4.5

TIA

Regards
