Buongiorno Fabrizio!
My experience is that converting to RPG IV on a RISC machine does take more
memory to run, but it runs 10-20% faster with no changes to the code.  It is
easy enough for you to keep a copy of the old program and run it in parallel
with the RPG IV version to compare the run-time.
