hello
when i want to retrieve records from a file with
certain criteria is there a preferred way rather than using open qry file
with selects... perhaps using cpyf to a file in qtemp and using increl
to select records..... as a novice are there particular performance issues
of either way this relates to a particular task where i was asked
to use query400 (using this file and another file for the
customer name ) to output a printer file depending on the user entering
date and customer or just date..... or would doing this in a rpg pgm reading the
file have been better
