I've had luck finding Hayes Optima autosync PC card modems (some new in the
box) on e-bay. It's been a while, but http://serengeti.com had a supply of
new autosync PC card modems, I didn't see anything on their website, but
perhaps a quick e-mail will confirm or deny.

Hayes optima modems are *still* being manufactured by
http://www.zoomtel.com, but I think just the external versions.

I agree that it is a bit tricky, as some of the later optima card modems
did _not_ have autosync. Found that out the hard way. The one I have that
is working is a Hayes Optima 336 with EZ-Jack Model Number 5347US Version
4Q40. I will say that I have not had good luck using other than Hayes
Optima card modems.

I've been using Netsoft for the emulation software.

Regards,
Rich
