I was reading the V4R4 RPG IV Reference Manual on the pgm status data
structure. I was concerned about the job date and the system date, and the
century field in positions 199 - 200. I thought I knew this stuff, but I
am confused by the wording in the manual.

I submit a job on hold at 17:00 that is going to be released at 23:55 and
end about 00:55. (When you do a WRKJOB , there is an entered system date
and a started date.) Does the job date hold the entered system date or the
started date? I thought it was the started date.

If I access the system date (276 - 281) after 00:00, I'm assuming I'll get
the next date, just like using the TIME op code.

The century field (199 - 200) applies to the job date, and not the system
date.

Any clarification or correction would be appreciated.

Thanks.
