Actually, Joep's answer isn't the quintessential answer. It approximates
accuracy, but it's not quite there.

The topic of file overrides is a frequently (almost ALWAYS by EVERYONE)
misunderstood topic. It's a bit lengthy to go into here in the
newsgroup, but here's a heads up...

Read all about file overrides (well, almost ALL about) in the upcoming
July issue of NEWS/400 magazine in an article taken from a chapter in my
recently released book. I hope the article demystifies file overrides
for the masses.
