We had the same problem here with remote printers, not being able to print
more than one copy or printing a page range. Our solution was to get rid
of the remote output queues by buy IO/SYS print emulation boxes and connecting
them to the TCP/IP printers.

Then these printers become AS/400 printers with Device descriptions and we
can do all the formatting we need.

This also gets rid of the problem of not being able to print to a legible font
using remote output queues.
