Correction:

The change to the API *IS* documented ... it's just not documented very
well.

It's identified by two little sideways chevrons on
http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/html/as400/v5r1/ic2924/info/apis/qbnlpgmi.htm.

IBM: IF YOU ARE LISTENING -- How about a summary "What's new in OS400 for
Developers" that identifies the API's that have changed?
