What criteria would you use to determine which is "correct"?  This seems
akin to asking "which term is correct 'six' or 'half-dozen'?"

Having said that, however, I think you'll find that most RPG programmers
have only a vague notion of how pointers work, and therefore will prefer
data structures.  :)   And why argue with them over something this simple?
