Re : Interesting FTP question, URGENT

You should write your string in a file, then send your file to your server.

The ftp PUT command is using 2 parameters. The first one is the source filename,
and the second one (which is optionnal) is the destination filename.

In your example :
"put 20375817310010916180414010              0001RRE     RRE.tmp"
you are trying to use 3 parameters. That's why you get an error.

That is what my testing implied,
but I was not sure f that was a 400 limitation...


to me the obvious way is to write the values to a 1 record file,
and ftp the file...
