FTP is a File Transfer Protocol. Unfortunately, it doesn't work on the
record level (Hmm... is there an RTP?).

So.. you are going to have to come up with some scheme to get the records,
once transferred, from the file into your database. On the AS/400 it's
relatively easy, run remote command to copy the file adding the records is
probably the easiest way.

But, on the PC, your options are limited. Can you think of a way, any way,
to take this file on the PC into your database file?

Regards,

Jim Langston
