The difference between STRDBG and STRISDB is the scope of coverage. STRISDB is the interactive source debugger that IBM started shipping around V3R1 (I think) and it covers OPM programs only. STRDBG is an updated version of the original debug facility, which was enhanced to include interactive source debugging for ILE or OPM programs.
