You've shocked me.  You can't SETON/SETOFF  U1-U8 in the RPG program? They 
should be settable just like 01-99, unless something has changed  in the 
last 10 years or so....

Folks:

I needed to set on U1...U8, depending on data/user selection  in an RPG 
pgm and
call another RPG which will behave depending on how these indicators are 
set.

(The RPG will open files based on options chosen).

I had to write a small CLP to ensure that the switch setting is done 
properly
before calling the second RPG.
 Any other ways this can be done without a CL call?
