Another option (please note I would probably use one of the others in
preference - but you did ask about doing this in RPG)

KEY1 KLIST
 KFLD  CUSNO
 KFLD  CSITE

KEY2 KLIST  CUSNO
   CSITE
   WKINDT (where WKINDT is your desired date)

 READ  FILE   99
*IN99 DOWEQ '0'
KEY2 CHAIN  FILE  98
*IN98 DOWEQ'0
 Do desired process
KEY2 READE  FILE   98
 ENDDO
KEY1 SETGT  FILE
 READ  FILE
 ENDDO

This means the only irrelevant reads are the first ones for each cusno and
csite, after that you will only read records for the date involved.
