It is also quite common to find that when converting from RPG III (RPG/400)
to RPG IV errors surface.  Nothing wrong with the compiler, just that there
has been corruption resulting from specifying a field as shorter than it.
That corruption was probably innocuous in the RPG III version (or it would
have been resolved during testing) but will finish up in a different part
of memory now because the internal memory models of RPG IV and RPG III
programs are very different.
