Well, I'm no big expert on the HTTP Server, but here is one
advantage:  The HTTP server can handle multiple requests
simultaneously, which is possible in an RPG sockets program only
with some really tricky coding (or by writing a bit of C code).
The HTTP server already handles all of the multi-threading and
socket I/O issues in a very robust manner, so why bother writing
your own?
