just a sreen scrape from my AS/400

ftp '10.3.30.36'

220-Sambar FTP Server Version 4.4
220-Use USER user@host for native FTP proxy
220 Your FTP Session will expire after 900 seconds of inactivity.
<user>@<myhost>
331 Password required for <user>.
230 User <user> logged in.
UNIX Type: L8

ther's nothing special to configure on the AS/400. Of course
FTP must be running.

The Sambar-Server is afree server and is configured to run
as FTP proxy (act as FTP proxy = yes)

with the logon as <user>@<host> you tell the proxy to
contact <host> for further processing.

The Sambar-Server is responsible for DNS too.
