You can find most of your answers in the ILE Concepts manual (SC41-5606).

If you use EXPORT(*ALL) the following actions will change the signature

        o Add a new procedure or data item that is exported
        o Remove an existing procedure or data item that is exported
        o Rename a procedure or data item that is exported

That's it.

If you use binding source then only changing the contents of the binding 
source will alter the signature.

Changing the parameter interface (i.e., the number of parameters) will not 
affect the signature

Changing the logic inside a procedure, including new private data 
definitions, will not change the signature.

Adding data global to the module but not exported (e.g., D-specs at the 
module level without EXPORT) will not change the signature.
