I looked in the archives, but didn't find the answer to my question.

The situation is:

I have an RPG program executing a subprocedure in a service program which, in turn, executes another subprocedure in another service program.  An error occurs in the second service program.  I have exception handling in the RPG program, but the message that it gives me says that the error occurred in the RPG program, not the service program.

My questions:  How do I put exception message handling in a subprocedure within a service program?  How do I get the correct information to be displayed on an error screen?

I hope this makes sense.  TIA!
