**Who ARE all these people who use Java for all these things?

We are currently in the process of selecting a vendor to rewrite
our entire system in java. We have already replaced our old VRS
system with an IVR written entirely in java. This year, all of
the backend applications will be replaced.

**I've noticed two things: 1) PC & UNIX people stopped talking
**about Java 3 years ago.

I thought we didn't care what the PC & UNIX people were saying and doing?!

**Only AS/400 people still babble about it.

We still babble about RPG too!

**2) I've never seen a significant piece of software
**written in Java.

We will have a significant piece of software written in java by
the Fall.
