Have you checked out my previous suggestion about parameter sizes?  The
minute you add a field you change the internal memory map.  Where your
corruption was previously going into an output buffer that you immediately
filled with the correct data, it now might overwrite a compiler generated
pointer to that buffer.

If the program is in RPG/400 - convert it to RPG IV (CVTRPGSRC) and compile
it that way.  If it is corruption that causes the problem it will occur in
a completely different place and might well show up even in the "old"
version of the program.
