Peter,

The INFDS only returns the format used by the active DSPF, the mentioned API 
test
the capabilities of the device. I wrote this programme in 1997 (my first with
API's and RPG IV) and tested it on dumb terminals and emulations like Rumba,
Elite and Client Access.

I think Tom was looking for that.
