Having programmed in Pascal and C before I learned RPG, the semicolon
doesn't seem like  a big deal to me.  I'm sure it's easier to write a
compiler when you have end of statement delimiters.  I'd like to see code
block delimiters also.  If you use them _sensibly_, they actually make your
code more readable.  

If we'll be able to spread statements over several lines, we can have the
first obfuscated RPG contest, although some people might argue that matching
records code would win every time. <g>
