Marcin, trailing blanks are significant for opendir.  Since
PathName is 50 bytes long, /QDLS/SAGAN will have about 40 blanks
following it.

If you define PathName as varying, your second line would
work.  It would also work if you used %TRIM:
  OpenDir(%TRIM(PathName)).
