Thanks for all the feedback from everyone!  While I think I'm glad I wasn't
involved in the days of cards and mirrors, it's very reassuring to me to know
that there are people still around that do know the history!

AHHHHH, memories..

System 3 was precursor to 34/36 et al.  My first programming job was on a
System 3 Model 12.  Loved keying running programs on that 8" diskette (the
one with the funky display that used mirrors). And who can forget those 96
column cards.

The System 3 Model 15D then gave you the ability to write/run interactive
programs using that wonderful CCP code.

Just a curiousity question ...

A contractor recently described some very old code as "System 3" code.  Any
idea
what this is?  RPG II is as far back as I go!  I do know it's running on an
AS400 in 36 mode.
