I'm a newbie to RPG/400 and have learned much from this mailing list.

I do have a question to offer up to all the gurus.

I have a multi record format logical file that I am using. (see below)

A R WUDEPT PFILE(WUDPTP)
A K DEPT
A R STMASTF PFILE(WUSTDP)
A K SDEPT
A K STUNO

The issue I'm having is on the first read through the file(s)
one of the fields is coming up with no value, even though it should
contain one. Every other read is fine.

I would like to be able to see how the logical is retrieving the
information from the joined files.

I can't use CPYF to print because of the multiple formats.

Is there any other way I can dump the contents to see why that
field is that way?

Thanks for the help.
